[Seoul, Korea – August 6, 2019] Dunamu Inc. (CEO Sirgoo Lee), operator of the global crypto-asset exchange Upbit, today announced the official lineup and program for the Upbit Developer Conference 2019 (UDC 2019) taking place September 4~5 in South Korea’s Grand Hyatt Incheon Hotel.
UDC launched last year as one of the largest events dedicated primarily to blockchain developers and featured in-depth presentations from more than 30 industry experts.
This year’s conference will once again bring together top blockchain experts from around the globe. With “Proof of Services” as the main theme, UDC 2019 will shine a spotlight on those bringing blockchain technology to the mainstream through technical expertise and innovative real-life applications.
UDC 2019 kicks off September 4 with opening remarks by Dunamu Chairman Chi-Hyung Song, followed by keynote presentations from Dr. Leemon Baird, Co-founder & Chief Scientist of Hedera Hashgraph, and Samson Mow, CSO of Blockstream.
Other Day 1 speakers include Ground X CEO Jason Han, Ava Labs Chief Protocol Architect and Co-founder Ted Yin, Unchain CEO Hong-Kyu Lee, Terra Co-founder Daniel Shin, and more.
Day 2 of UDC 2019 will feature Jan Junge, Blockchain Developer and Product Owner for Daimler Mobility, and Houman Haddad, Head of Emerging Technologies for the United Nations World Food Programme, as opening presenters.
Yanolja CEO Jongyoon Kim and SM Entertainment Head of CT-AI Labs Sang-Sik Joo will provide insight on how blockchain technology is being integrated into the world of entertainment and leisure, respectively.
Vinod Tiwari, Power Ledger’s Head of Business Development and Sales, Mitch Liu, CEO of Theta Labs, Allen Kho, CEO of MediBloc, and world-renowned artist Kevin Abosch are among the other Day 2 speakers.
Also scheduled is a special panel session focused on global crypto-asset regulation featuring CEOs of major cryptocurrency exchanges from North America, Europe, and Asia.
In addition to the speaker sessions, UDC 2019 also offers an exhibition zone showcasing a wide variety of cutting-edge blockchain services, Hands-on sessions for aspiring Dapp developers, and a Hackathon event with a total prize pool of KRW 50,000,000 (approx. USD 41,000).
